What does it cost me?
Nothing. Requesting quotes is free. You pay the yard for your materials, and some yards pay ELX a referral fee on completed orders. That fee is never added to your price. ELX never takes payment for materials.
Who do I buy from, and who delivers?
You buy directly from the yard you choose. It invoices you and arranges delivery or pickup. Freight, tax and payment terms are in each yard’s quote.
How do you choose which yards to ask?
By hand. We look at product fit, delivery area and what the yard stocks. We confirm the match with you before sharing your contact details.
What does “Check my list” do?
It reads your request and points out missing details, such as a treatment rating or dimensions. It is an automated first pass. It does not check stock, prices, grades, engineering or code requirements.
Is this the same as the old Everglades Lumber?
No. Everglades Lumber Exchange (ELX) is an independent service and is not affiliated with any lumber supplier using a similar name. Contact each supplier directly to confirm its identity and current operations.
